Here’s a quick look at how I have been sewing face masks for my friends and family throughout the pandemic.

1.) Cut out four pieces of fabric.

I iron on one to two pieces of fusible interfacing as well, depending on how thick the fabric is.

2.) Put right sides together and sew around the top, front, and bottom – leave the back open for straps.

3.) Cut the excess fabric off the edges.

4.) Flip right side out and do the same steps to the other side of the mask.

5.) Pin right sides (the sides that will be facing out while wearing the finished mask) together along the front.

6.) Sew and flip right sides out.

7.) Pin the edges of the mask with the elastic.

8.) Sew it up!

All done! Let me know if you have any questions or suggestions!
